These earrings are my version of hoops. Their shape is based on arches found in nature and historic architecture. Flying arches are strong, graceful, and send energy sideways—resisting inward-pushing force. The earrings feature a hinge-back closure that maintains their infinite line. Their structure and texture induce in me an intimate feeling: they invite you to move through, under, over—a threshold to something other.
These small Flying Arch hoops have a row of pave diamonds on the center hoop.
